Basis for the 1931 David Butler film featuring Will Rogers as a razor blade manufacturer hoping to corner the market, also with Joel McCrea and, in a small role, Boris Karloff.

Hardcover in fairly good reading condition. Published by Doubleday, Page & Co.; 1927. Unstated edition. 
Black cloth binding with colorful travel motif design pastedown on front cover and spine and decorative endpapers. Boards have fading,  bumping, rubbing and soiling. Text is age-toned with foxing, text fading, soiling and some edgewear. Binding is in tact, spine sunned, back inside hinge cracked. List of Tarkington's books inside endleaf.  Acceptable reading copy. No visible markings within. 12mo-over 6 3/4 "-7 3/4 ". 543 pgs.
