Original Brass with black overpaint optical unit. This unit features eyepieces that have screening that fits closely to side of face blocking all light. The earpieces are folding steel. In place of lenses the unit exhibits small sliding doors with small aperture in center. The doors can be slid open to allow more light into eye. This unit is housed in a circa early 19th century leatherette case. As to use this optical unit is a complete mystery to us. .Guaranteed forever to be original . Buyer pays 4.95 for Priority Mail . 3 day return - for any reason . Please do not bid if you not intend on honoring that bid . I have posted large photos which may take a moment to load.
