Strange photo of a US military man wearng a beautiful embroidered full length Chinese silk coat with elaborate depictions of dragons and cranes.   There is no indication of who, what, where, or why....but I'm guessing this was something he picked up while serving overseas.  Photo is WWI period and measures approx. 4 3/4" x 6 1/2".  There is some damage in upper left corner and light wear throughout.
