Vintage Moonstone Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Pin

 Helping My Aunt to clean out her attic. This auction is for a beautiful vintage brooch or pin. Pictures do not do this pin justice. I was unable to capture the shine and sparkle especially from the rhinestones on the upper edge. A large pin, it measures approx. 2 inches high by 2 inches long. Large opalescent moonstone in the center surrounded on one side by tear shaped moonstones. A semi-circle of bright aurora borealis rhinestones on one side. Prong-set. These moonstones give off the hues of opals.Pin clasp closure on the back. The pin is slightly bent, probably from being attached to a coat or thicker garment. A stunning piece of vintage costume jewelry! I was unable to find any maker marks or signatures. My Aunt believes it to be from the 1940's. Please email with any questions or concerns before bidding.
