Changer features "plug & play" installation. Simply locate the pre-wired CD harness in your BMW and plug in the 3-pin power cord and 6-pin data cord [coaxial cable in case of DSP]. Your in-dash radio will control the unit. Will work in many other BMW's from 1996 up (check with dealer for details regarding your BMW).If you own a 5-Series BMW, why pay the dealer $695 (yep, that's what they would charge for the changer itself but here you are getting it all) when you can install yourself into your PRE-WIRED BMW?
