Working Revere Roll Film 16mm Movie Camera Model 103 NR
Still clearing out the storage unit. Found a working Revere Model 103 16mm roll film Movie Camera #P 7356, with a Wollensak 1 inch f1.9 Cine Raptar lens. Circa around 1953. Made by The Revere Camera Co. Chicago. This thing is built like a tank. It weighs around 6 pounds, and is very solid. The camera looks to be functioning fine. The shutter opens and changes speeds, as the speed dial is adjusted. I don't notice any waver of speeds as the camera is running, only if the speed is changed. It has 16, 24, 32, 48, and 64 speeds. I have no idea how accurate the shutter is, but it sounds fine. The lens turret rotates and accepts 3 lenses, and 3 viewfinder lenses. The viewfinder is mostly clear, but could use a cleaning. The lens glass looks fine, as do the aperture blades. The aperture works fine. No major dents, or dings. It has quite a few scrapes and scuffs, but in surprisingly good condition for it's age.
