Description :

This auction features a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T muscle car diecast, released by ERTL Diecast, as part of their American Muscle Authentics Series. It is in mint condition in the original Box. ERTL has really made strides with their top of the line Authentics Line.

For 1970, the Charger R/T was the Top of the Line for the performance line. New features for the 1970 Charger included a front bumper which completely encircled the grille and new full width tail lights. The R/T got simulated scoops on the door, and a longitudal stripe instead of the rear bumblebee stripes. Along with a standard 440 6-Pack power plant, R/T buyers could also order the Hemi. Hemi engines had been available in the 1950s and the 426 Hemi had been available since 1964. In 1970 the street Hemi was available only in the R/T. Advertised at 425bhp, it actual put out close to 500bhp.

High detail 1:18 scale diecast has opening doors, trunk and hood, nice 440 ci Six-Pack engine, accurate Charger paint colors and badges and readable gauges in the well done interior. This is a nicely detailed diecast, and you won't be disappointed adding this sharp looking car to your MoPar or ERTL Authentics Elite diecast collection.
