UNITED STATES NAVY TRAINING SERVICE (RECOGNITION)

These 7 pages are from a 50 page manual that was 3 hole punched and was tied. It had a soft cover.
Pages size is 10 x 6-1/4.
As shown they have water damage.

The first picture is of the 4 pages that are printed on 1 side only.
The first of the 4 is damaged the most. It was stuck together by the water damage. it is marked JRB; F-S, U.S. NAVY AND ARMY, PHOTOGRAPHIC AND RECONNAISSANCE. It is 4 pictures of the plane in flight.
Second one is marked STIRLING, R. A. F. , HEAVY BOMBER. Has 2 in flight plus 3 view silhouette pictures.
Third pic is the SB2U, VINDICATOR, U. S. NAVY SCOUT BOMBER. 4 in flight views, 1 with pontoons.
Fourth page is the SB2C, HELLDIVER, U. S. NAVY SCOUT BOMBER. 4 inflight views.

Next 3 are the printed 2 sides sheet.
First is the PBM, MARINER, U. S. NAVY, PATROL BOMBER. 1 side has 2 pics plus the silhouette, back side 4 in flights.
Second one is the A-20; BD, BOSTON OR HAVOC, U.S S. ARMY AND NAVY, ATTACK BOMBER. 1 side has 2 pics plus the silhouette, back side 4 in flights.
Third one is SBD; A-24, DAUNTLESS, U. S. NAVY AND ARMY, SCOUT BOMBER. 1 side has 2 pics plus the silhouette, back side 4 in flights.

All are marked in the top left hand corner. U. S. N. T. S. (Recognition) / Columbus, Ohio, 12-8-42 / Form 2.
They had been folded, maybe to carry in pocket.
Believe the original manual had Allied planes plus those of the enemy.

The package will weigh in the 12 ounces range for priority mail. Check the shipping calculator for the fee to your zip.

Transaction must be completed and payment received within 10 days after close of auction or a non-paying bidder will be registered with ebay and item will be relisted.


Insurance will be extra and optional. We make every effort to pack items so that they will be received in the same condition in which they left us. We will not be responsible for items that are not insured once they are placed in the mail. We accept payment through PayPal and will ship within 2 days of receipt of the payment.
