This is a PC-based security system. Simply to say , you insert the DVR card in a free PCI slot of your computer. After you installing the drivers & software for the card and connecting the cameras with DVR card, you can then run a full function security system.

Quick Installation steps:

Turn off the PC and insert the DVR card in a free PCI slot of your computer

Turn on the computer and it will find the new hard ware, put in the CD for installing the drivers automatically and select the suitable application to install. For example, buyers in US and Canada need to select to install NTSC application for the cameras they got is NTSC ones.

Turn off the computer to connect the cameras with the DVR card and be sure to power the cameras via  power adapters.
