ANNE FRANCIS - VINTAGE PUBLICITY STILL (1957)

ANNE FRANCIS (b. 1930) is best known for her role in the science fiction film classic Forbidden Planet (1956), and as the female private detective in the television series Honey West (1965-1966). She won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy award for her role in Honey West. Francis holds the distinction of starring in the first TV series with a woman detective character's name in the title. She also appeared in films such as Bad Day at Black Rock, Blackboard Jungle, The Satan Bug, Funny Girl and Haunts of the Very Rich.

An excellent portrait publicity still, date-stamped May 1957 on the reverse. The photo measures 7.25" x 9.25" and is in very good condition with a small tear on the left edge and surface wear.
