Sexy, disillusioned film star Trevor Montgomery walks into a pool one night in 1938, intending to die; instead, he resurfaces in 1998, miraculously called back to life by Adriana Howard's romantic pleas, and discovers that he has become a mysterious but scandalous legend in the interim. An old, brutal, unsolved murder keeps the action moving as Trevor searches for the mystery's uneasy answers. In the end, it is the past that must change just a bit to make everything turn out happily. Humorous and thoroughly romantic, this story is shot through with all the charming decadence of the Thirties Hollywood scene and may appeal to classics film buffs as well as to readers intrigued by the uncommon setting.
