Bidding has ended on this item. Item:1940's Easter Egg and Rabbit Postcard Chocolate Mold! |
|
|
Beautiful "postcard" chocolate mold, complete with Easter Bunny and decorated egg, with an unfurled banner with "Happy Easter in cursive type. The raised frame around the design has the name Barricini across the bottom. I presume this was the manufacturer. It has a bit of dullness that will undoubtedly brighten considerably with a good metal polish and some light elbow grease. The interior is certainly clean enough to be used for making edible candies, again, once it is cleaned thoroughly. It measures a full 4" (10cm) by 6.5" (16cm) wide, and is about 1/2" (1.25cm) thick. Shipping on this vintage 1930's-1940's chocolate mold is $6 via USPS Priiority mail, with $50 insurance included. Additional insurance is required on items that sell for more than $100, and it is always a good idea to insure it for what you paid for the object. Additional insurance is available at $1.75 for each additional $100 in value. (If this item sells for $150, the full amount of shipping with full insurance will be $7.75.) Since we pay for the first $50, it is up to the buyer to cover any difference between that $50 coverage, and the price paid for the item.
