THESE ARE TWO BEAUTIFULLY DONE  VINTAGE FOLK ART TAPESTRIES (NOT SURE OF COUNTRY OF ORIGIN) WOVEN IN SILK THREAD IN VERY VIVID COLORS WITH SILK CORD BINDING AND ABOUT 2" IN FRINGE ALL AROUND. THE SIZE IS 15 X 15 1/2" WITH FRINGE INCLUDED. THERE IS ONE PULLED THREAD IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE PHOTO #2. NOT VERY NOTICEABLE AT ALL. THE FOLK DANCERS ALL IN A GROUP IN PHOTO #3 HAS PULLED THREADS ON THE LADY ON FAR LEFT IN TAPESTRY. THESE ARE NOT HEAVY TAPESTRY , BUT SILKY FOR PILLOW COVERS OR TRIM. I BELIEVE THE BACKGROUND FABRIC,BEIGE, IS A SILK LINEN WEAVE.)THESE ARE TRULY ONE OF A KIND. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY OTHERS. WISH I KNEW IF THEY ARE CZECH, ROMANIAN, OR EVEN PERHAPS PERSIAN IN ORIGIN. PURCHASED IN FRANCE WITH MANY OTHER COLLECTIBLE LINENS.
