Description

These are from Harper and Brothers. Printing dates vary from 1872 to 1876. Unfortunately there are only 14 Vols. and I believe this set was of 16 books. Tons of great illustrations, many different artists. Beautiful covers with gilt and black decorations. None of these are mint, but neither are any falling apart. All have rubbing on the spine ends and corners, some heavier. About half have some spotting/foxing on some pages but even then not on all pages. I see no loose pages, writing or real tears.2-3 have a little more damage to the covers which I will mention on the individual discriptions. Hey what do you expect for books more than 130 years old!
