Piano sheet music with vocal line and ukulele chord charts - key of E flat in waltz time - SOMETIME. Lyric by Gus Kahn, music by Ted Fiorito. NY: Jerome H Remick & Co., 1925. Measures 9 x 12" - 3 leaves, 6 pp.

Lovely, dreamy two-verse song about how love is just over the horizon, even for the lonely: "You're all alone - You've never known - The touch of a lover's hand - After awhile - Someone will smile - Someone will understand...The gray skies above you - Will change to fairest blue - Sometime someone will whisper I love you love you too", etc.

Cover art in cream, black, gray, and white by the Starmer brothers, with a large photo inset of the Oriole Terrace Orchestra (photo credited to A. W. Sanders).

Fiorito had a long and successful career as a bandleader, composer, recording artist, and radio performer. He was with Harry Yerkes and Art Highman before joining forces with Dan Russo as the house orchestra at Detroit's Oriole Terrace. Over the decades, his vocalists included Ted Lewis, Candy Candido, Betty Grable, June Haver, Joy Lane, Ward Swingle, and many other notables. This is a very nice collectible for Ted Fiorito fairly at the point when his career really started to take off.

CONDITION: Very Good. Minor wear and soiling to covers. Yellowing to inner leaf, and a small chip to the margin. The cover is bright and attractive, and definitely suitable for framing.
