We measure the length next from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the shirt, If its long sleeves we measure from the shoulder seam on top to the end of the cuff on the top of the arm, These measurments are very important if you want your shirt to look nice, as an example an XL can measure from 47"inches to 50" inches in the chest and still be an XL and 3" inches can make a big difference in the fit. If you have any questions please ask. Ebay also has a sizing chart that is pretty accurate. Some people like there Hawaiin Shirts to fit a little large or baggy for comfort.
