ALL MY RECORDS ARE IN VG AND ABOVE CONDITION UNLESS NOTED IN THE TITLE.
They have been visually inspected to be free from scratches.
Collectors seeking rare copies should note that I look up every record prior to posting and can tell you this record doesn't have a book value of more then $25. If you are seeking rare LPs I have a special section set up in my Ebay store for those items.
If when you recieve your record you find any reason to be concerned please contact me immeadiately. I have no desire to sell you anything less then a quality item and will work to insure your complete satisfaction in the event that your record doesn't play propperly. I won't even ask for a return.
Is it just me, or are the kids today really missing out on some things?
Take records like this one for example.
Now-a-days everyone seems bent on downloading all their favorite songs. Heck, you can even send them right to your cell phone and set them as a ring tone and carry it with you forever…or until you get sick of it and move onto the next flavor of the moment.
But what about the nostalgia factor?
I flip through these records and realize that these are all memories. Good, bad, happy, neurotic, depressed, and ecstatic memories.
John Prine’s Prime Prine… The first record my father ever let me put on the turntable alone.
Michael Jacksons Thriller and Kenny Rogers The Gambler… The first records I ever owned I got for Christmas… LOL My Mom got them from McDonalds by trading in 4 cans of canned food for a food drive.
My best friend and I played Def Leppards Pyromania in his basement until we wore the needle out.
Twisted Sisters Come Out and Play was the last record I heard before I went 5 years without a haircut! (I still feel the little indent I think I put in my forehead through the 80s!)
And I can’t even look at Nazareth’s Hair of the Dog LP while my wife is in the same room with me without blushing… Yep… “IT” was “THAT” record but “SHE” wasn’t the woman I wound up married too! LOL… Hey, she liked Love Hurts. What can I say? LOL
Peter Gabriels In Your Eyes… The first song I ever danced to with my wife.
All of these are images that spring to the surface every single time I see one of these records from the soundtrack of my world.
But what are our kids going to do? Get teary eyed and reminiscent every time their phone rings in the future?
Anyways, that’s why I like to list records like this. I know it’s not a huge collectable that books for more then $25 but it’s priceless if it’s a part of your youth.
So here’s what I like to do.
If you’ve been looking at this record it obviously has some meaning to you. And hopefully I have a few more for sale that do as well.
So if you would like this record (It’s in VG to VG+ condition and has been visually checked to be free from scratches) I’m selling it for a buy it now of just $6.50 with free shipping.
But what I would rather you did was look around my listings and see if there are some other records in my stock you would like as well. Check out all the ones listed with a BUY IT NOW price of $6.50 and if you buy 4 of them, you can pick out 2 more for free and I’ll ship them free of charge as well if you live in the USA. That’s 6 records sent to your door for $26 flat.
Internationals, shipping will be charged based on the actual weight of the package. Rest assured I will only charge you actual shipping charges regardless of what the calculator say. I just can’t say what it will be for certain until I have you full order.
Add them to your collection… Start a new collection… Replace an old scratched one you might have … Hell, frame them in some cheap frames and decorate your office with all your favorite memories… Or be like Diddy and rip them off and make a fortune on your own. LOL
This, and all the other $6.50 records I’m offering may not be the most valuable pieces of vinyl ever pressed… But they’ll sure bring you a lot more joy then your kids Ipod will in another 30 years.
