Subway Tunnels

 

These Tunnel backdrops are perfect for all MTH Subway series O Gauge Train Sets

 

 

These look great and very authentic just like the NYC Subway System.  The pictures do them any justice, the tunnel walls look like the real thing!

Some lines had the arches carved in lower part of the walls for air, up above on the street level then you would see the steel grated sidewalks.  Sometimes you can look down through the steel grates and see the train wheels and sparks as it was passing.

 

 

There is a hand yellow handrail going across the tunnels for the workers as in the real thing!

 

 

There is also a total of 2 signals in this tunnel kit.  you can add these to your stations or how ever you want in your layout!

 

Just to let you know and save time ~ You Will NOT find these sets on the internet any place except for here on ebay.  They are my own design and publishing.  I will only have these on line for a limited time.

 

 

 

If you ever rode the NYC Subway System you will notice that these are as close as possible to the real thing!

 

 

Each subway tunnel kit comes with 4 sheets of printed station sections.  you can placed them in any order so if you have more than 1 station, you can place each ones at the ends and so forth to make each one look different.  Each sheet when you cut out the stations will give you 1 section approximately 12" in length.  All 4 cut and put together should give you approximately 48" total tunnel length.  You can buy multiple kits and mix and match or add on to make your stations or tunnels longer if needed.

 

 

In order to set them up, if you have a back wall just use a spray glue and glue them directly to your back wall.  I had used cardboard and used spray adhesive to mount the stations to a stiffer backing, then used a glue gun to mount the cardboard to my board.

Sorry about this revision.  The first three packages that went out were returned because of boxing and shipping classification.  I tried to ship them as cheap as possible for all my customers but that back fired and I had to suffer the out come of a more expensive shipping cost at first.  This is why I had to raise the cost of shipping until i find another way to get it to you cheaper.  thanks and I will keep tring to find a cheaper way, but for now it has to be this way.  mike m
