These are gorgeous! They are a matched pair of Loom Shuttles held together with an old thick iron ring. The name STEHEDCO is on one side along with the words "Quality Control". The other side shows a man hitting something on an Anvil? and says "TEMPERED". It also has the word "SOUTHERN", along with the numbers letters "DS1019 284 * 612". The number "288" is pressed/carved inside one of these. The two colors of wood are beautiful together. With the ring, this would make an awesome Antiques Primitives display, or can be put to other uses as well. I think they date to the early 1900's. There was a Stehedco Steel Products Company in Philadelphia, PA. that was involved in Textiles. I am not sure if these are from the same company, but I suspect they were. The tips have steel on them. The plastic ties/strings are still on the inside, but have been broken. These measure 16 1/2" wide, 2" deep and 1 1/2" tall. These are quite heavy, so I will be quoting the Flat Rate for Priority Mail shipping. If you live close to me (30062) and it is cheaper to ship regular, I will let you know the shipping price.

Shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. Insurance is extra at buyers expense. Please allow additional time for check clearance before shipment if paying with a personal check. Thank you for looking!
