Beautiful Turkish Hereke Silk Rug

This beautiful piece is a handmade silk tapestry rug featuring the Tree of Life design.  The colors are of the city of the Ayatollah.  The weave is very fine.   The rug has rings on the back for hanging.  It measures 32-1/2 x 47-1/2 inches, not including fringe, and it is in excellent condition.  This really is a stunning piece!  This was purchased in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1993.  It has 484 knots per square inch.  This has never been used as a floor rug and has always hung on the wall.  It does not have a certificate from Hereke, but was told when purchased by the store owner that it was a Hereke.  Please note this item is for sale locally in our retail store and we reserve the right to end this listing upon the sale of the item.
