Real photo postcard - measures approx. 3-5/8 x 5-5/8" - TWO SISTER DRESSED UP. c1920. Matte finish (not glossy), sepia tone. Unused (no cancel). Rounded corners.

Charming image of two sister with almost identical short puffed hairdo posing together in nice dresses. They both wear pearl necklaces and one sister sports a large bar pin, an ornamental hairclip, and round spectacles. One dress has a silk sheen and beadwork. The other has a lovely bodice of lace and voile. Offered with original cardboard frame/holder (see photo).

The back is inscribed in pencil: "Myrtle & Ota to Aunt Golda". Though the card is not dated, elements of the dress and photography suggest c1920.

Note: We are not photography experts, but we do our best to examine each item carefully. This card was clearly printed by a photographic process (no dots).

CONDITION: Good. Minor soiling, wear to corners, and crease to margin of upper right corner. The holder is Very Good with little wear. When the postcard is placed in the holder, the wear to the edges is not visible (see photo).

We use accepted bookseller's grading standards: Fine, Near Fine, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. We grade items conservatively.
