Real photo postcard - measures approx. 3-5/8 x 5.25" - BESSIE HINEMAN BORUFF. c1920. Unused - no cancel. Matte/linen-like finish (not glossy).

Young woman simply dressed in shirt with pocket, neckerchief, locket. The clothing, card type, and associations would date this image to about 1920.

From a collection of Mormon-related real photo postcards relating to Royal, Lewis, Boruff, and Sexton families, many referencing the Great Lakes Mission and points in Indiana.

Note: We are not photography experts, but we do our best to examine each item carefully. This postcard was clearly printed by a photographic process (no dots).

CONDITION: Good. A little wear to edges, partial crease at upper right corner, minor spotting and scuffing. Back is lightly yellowed and soiled.We use accepted bookseller's grading standards: Fine, Near Fine, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. We grade items conservatively.
