FRAME
This is an early 1980's womens large eyeglass frame. This is the classic big plastic that Hollywood is currently wearing. The hand-polished zyl has fawn/brown elements with blue highlights and intertwined gold temples.
This frame is semi-dressy for the period. Good quality. Nice stuff.
CONDITION
This frame is New Old Stock and has never held lenses. We guarantee it ready for yours.
NOTE: This would make great sunglasses with brown polarized (non-prescription) custom lenses - available in our Ebay store.
SIZE
This frame is a medium or maybe medium-small fit for the period and style. In other styles this could be a medium-large frame, but this style was generally worn large. Hope that made sense. Temples measure 133mm.

We have to physically go to the post office, wait in line, and pay for the items individually. So for surface delivery, we ship on Tuesday and Friday. Pay by Monday, you ship Tuesday. - We accept returns for any reason as long as the item is in the same condition as shipped.

- Must be postmarked no later than 14 days after delivery.
- If you are returning something because you don't like it, we refund 100% of the auction fee, but no shipping.

- If you are returning an item for fit, please try having it adjusted locally by an optician before returning it. Most eyewear requires adjustment to fit correctly.

About Us
WHAT WE SELL
The eyewear we offer for sale on Ebay is either restored or is new unsold stock. We take pride in the work we do in the preservation of old eyeglasses.
We use our thirty-five years of experience to inspect every aspect of every frame - new or not. The majority of the previously worn frames we get have defects beyond repair and are rejected. The rest are taken apart, cleaned, sterilized, polished, and trued. They are then reassembled, using new screws, nose pads, temple covers and other parts as necessary. Finally, the glasses are given a final cleaning and adjustment
"New Old Stock"
Even frames that have never been out of their original package can change over time. Pressure from other frames in the box and changes in temperature and humidity can cause shape changes over time, throwing the frame out of adjustment. Metal parts such as hinges can tarnish and become stiff. If a plastic frame has been stored for many decades, the plastic may dehydrate and contract or, in extreme cases, begin to deteriorate (and smell like vinegar).
So even with "New Old Stock", we careful inspect each frame and make sure it is solid and in original factory adjustment.
