The five cast members pictured are Louis De Palma (played by Danny Devito), Elaine O'Connor-Nardo (played by Marilu Henner), Tony Danza (played by Tony Banta), Reverend Jim Ignatowski (played by Christopher Lloyd), and Simka Dahblitz-Gravas (played by Carol Kane).

"TAXI" was a hit TV show series that ran from 1978 to 1983. Louie De Palma is a cantankerous of the show, an acerbic taxi dispatcher in New York City. He tries to maintain order over a collection of varied and strange characters who drive for him. As he bullies and insults them from the safety of his "cage," they form a special bond among themselves, becoming friends and supporting each other through the inevitable trials and tribulations of life.
