Important Notice for Non US Buyers

Most foreign countries impose a duty, customs charge or value added tax on items shipped from the US. Please check with YOUR postal or customs authorities to determine the amount and reporting requirements. We have a difficult time understanding our own tax system and we have absolutely no desire to figure out the customs of the 50 or so other countries we ship to. We accept no responsibility financially or legally for any customs duty or VAT charged to items upon arrival!

Payment Terms

Philly Photo Supply sells and ships worldwide as long as the item is paid for in full, using an acceptable method of payment, regardless of nationality, class, race, creed, color, or sexual orientation. We are only limited by the import laws or postal regulations of the destination country. The rules below only apply to payments and are not a restriction on the ability to bid and buy. If you are a legitimate buyer, we WANT your business!

All items must be paid for in five days from end of auction unless prior arrangements have been made.

We accept and prefer PayPal - the online payment system but we also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and other forms of payment that eBay prohibits listing here. Email for details.

Philly photo Supply reserves the right to refuse certain types of payment if we feel it is in our best interests to do so. A buyer is still required to complete a transaction with some other mutually acceptable means of payment should we refuse to accept an invalid payment type.

We cannot emphasize enough that these types of problems can all be avoided by asking questions before bidding.

PayPal Payments

We will refuse or refund any PayPal payments that are not protected by the PayPal Seller Protection program.

Credit Card Payments

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Payment by credit card can be made by clicking the Pay Now button located in your invoice or in the Items Won section of My EBay. You will be directed to PayPal where you can pay directly with your credit card without opening a PayPal account. Carefully read and follow the on screen directions.  Items paid for by credit card will only be shipped to the billing address of the credit card and a signature is required upon delivery.

Shipping Information

Best Offers may void Free Shipping offers.

When offered, Free Shipping is for ground shipping to the 48 contiguous states with our choice of carrier.

There maybe a slight surcharge applied to orders shipped to AK, HI, PR, VI, Guam, APO, FPO or areas classified as "remote" by UPS. We ask that buyers from these location request a quote prior to buying or wait for a final invoice prior to making payment. Do not assume that we will pay 100% of the shipping to remote locations.

Many items shipped overseas by Philly Photo Supply are packed in irregular sized containers due to their shape and size. These items are not oversized by U S Postal Service standards, but are considered oversized by some foreign postal carriers and can incur additional handling charges upon final delivery. These charges are added by the courier and not Philly Photo. The size of these items sometimes prevents us from combining items into one order.

OUR BUSINESS IS NOT TO MAKE A PROFIT FROM SHIPPING!

We also shop on eBay and hate high shipping fees. We would not think of doing this to others. We charge a fair price over the actual shipping cost to cover our supplies, gas to and from the post office, UPS etc.

We will try to give our customers a choice of cheap or fast shipping. We have not found any  reliable company that is both fast and cheap! Either way the choice is totally yours.

Shipping Rates

We use the UPS, US Postal Service and FedEx published rates.  The final shipping cost is based on the total weight and in some cases, the size of the parcel. See eBay shipping calculator or write for an exact quote.

We will, when possible, combine items to save shipping. We are sometimes limited by package size or weight.

For Continental US shipments, we use FedEx, UPS and US Postal Service.

For non-US shipments, we primarily use US Postal Service, but will use UPS Worldwide or FedEx upon request.

Some cheaper shipping services, like First Class Mail International, that do not offer tracking or insurance are not available to countries that have a high incidence of lost packages like Italy and Spain.

Per new eBay sller rules, shipping insurance is the responsibility of the Seller and the actual  insurance amount has been included in the Handling Fee. Our Handling Fee includes some or all the following costs: insurance coverage, cost of packing materials, postage service fees, pick up fees, and preparation of documentation.

Return Policy

Items purchased from Philly Photo Supply maybe returned within seven (7) days from receipt of the product for refund or exchange under the following conditions:

If an item is received initially defective, Philly Photo will gladly exchange the item or provide a complete refund. Philly Photo will pay the cost of return shipping or provide a prepaid shipping label.

For non defective returns of new merchandise, the item must be returned in the same salable condition as it was when shipped. The buyer pays return shipping. Item must be returned with complete packaging, tags, labels, instructions, and original manufacturer supplied accessories. Returned items will be inspected upon return and should the item be incomplete, show signs of use, exhibit damage, contain stains or odors from cigarettes the item will be returned to the buyer at the buyers expense. Items returned with missing packaging or accessories maybe assessed a restocking charge. Refunds for items offered with free shipping will have the outbound shipping deducted from the refund.

Items damaged in transit cannot be returned. Claims must be made with the carrier. Please retain all shipping boxes and shipping materials until a claim is filed.

Used items and opened media (DVD's, CD's, Software) cannot be returned.
