The LRF800 Rangemaster sends out pulses of laser light, which are in the infrared wavelength, harmless and invisible to the naked eye.  Some of these pulses are reflected back.  The built-in microprocessor calculates the object distance from these reflected signals.  The Leica LRF800 Rangemaster is equipped with superb 7x-magnification optics, which enable good targeting even in difficult conditions. 

The measuring accuracy of the Leica LRF800 Rangemaster is up to +/- 1 Meter/Yard.  The maximum range is 800 meters or 875 yards with a well reflecting object and unaided visibility of 10 km. 

Accuracy is as follows in sunshine and good visibility:

+/- 1 meter/yard up to 200m/218 yards

+/- 2 meters/yards up to 600m/656 yards

+/- 0.5% over 600m/656 yards

Includes standard 2-year LEICA USA Warranty.
