Ace Records is a UK label group specializing in reissues of music from the 50s through the 80s. Their labels include Ace, Kent, Chiswick, Big Beat, Takoma, Southbound, Westbound, Talking Elephant, Stompertime and others.

Millie Jackson needs no introduction. One of the great female soul singers of the '70s and '80s, and, indeed, right up to the present time, Millie was born on 15/7/44 in Thompson, Georgia. She moved to Newark, New Jersey in 1958, worked as a model in New York City and began singing professionally at the Club Zanzibar in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1964. She first charted in 1971 with A Child Of God (It's Hard To Believe) for Spring. I Had To Say It includes a reworking of her hit Loving Arms, a rap medley as well as 7 other songs.
