Wardair Airlines Playing Cards 2 Decks NIB Sealed LoS&H

here are two full, and sealed playing card decks, that were offered as a courtesy to in-flight passengers flying with Wardair Airlines, Canada. They measure the traditional playing card size of 3.5 by 2.25 inches (90 x 58mm).

Although no longer operational, it was a premier Canadian airline, founded by Max Ward in 1952. Known for its first class hospitality service, Wardair ceased to grace the skies when it merged with Canadian Airlines in 1990.

The aircraft featured on the back of these playing cards is the Wardair Boeing 747-211B, Canadian Registration C-GXRA. Built on 15 May 1978, under MSN 21516, S/N 326, it like its esteemed airline, has also retired from the skies, after having given itself to an exemplary service record.

No longer available and difficult to find sealed within their own hard plastic case, this wonderful souvenir is a worthy addition to any aviation memorabilia collection.
