Movie description
This action-packed double features sees Joel McCrea starring, and includes: BIRD OF PARADISE: A cautionary tale of romantic ecology? Exotic anyway, with McCrea beaching his yacht in the South Seas and falling in love with native looker Del Rio. When the interloper decides that he would be much happier living with his Luana in paradise than returning to his empty modern lifestyle, he upsets the girl's family... and maybe even the local deities. THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME: After a shipwreck, a big game hunter washes up on a remote island only to discover that its owner, also a hunter, has tired of tracking animals and has developed a taste for a new prey...humans. Co-Director Shoedsack performed the same duty on KING KONG, as did producer Cooper. The film also used the same jungle sets and star Wray. Based on Richard Connell's famous, oft-filmed story.

Movie Plot
This Joel McCrea double feature DVD begins with "Bird of Paradise". In this south sea island adventure a beautiful native girl is rescued from a volcano by a man aboard a yacht. He falls in love with her, wishing he could stay, but he has to overcome many obstacles. The second feature, "The Most Dangerous Game," is one of the tightest, action-filled 62 minutes in movie history! A crazed Russian expatriate hunts people who shipwreck on his deserted island for sport... but McCrea and Wray are tougher prey than he expects. Note: "The Most Dangerous Game" was filmed almost simultaneously with another RKO classic "King Kong" and shared many of the same sets and personnel.
