This auction is for a Thomas Kinkade jigsaw puzzle entitled, "The Valley of Peace." Thomas Kinkade is best known for his lighted window cottages and this puzzzle is no exception to that. © 1998, #2302-4. Nice feature of this puzzle is the over sized pieces. For ages 12 and up.

The Valley of Peace marks the first time [Thomas Kinkade] featured the golden beauty of aspen trees in [his] mountainscapes. Most often, [his] mountains have a rugged grandeur. Here he revels in the play of subtle colors that give his gardens their romantic quality. Nature has her garden spots; this is one of them. The rustic cabin is cozy, inviting. The murmuring little stream runs to a sylvan pond. The road winds up the hillsideto the lofty peaks beyond. Aspen trees capture the gold of sunlight for our delight. Here, truly, is a perfect retreat for the dreamer who lives in all our hearts. There is also a small herd of deer stopping to take a drink from the pond.

Because I dislike buying a used puzzle and only after investing time into it discover that a piece is missing making it worthless, I have assembled this puzzle to verify that YES it is COMPLETE. I then placed the pieces in plastic bag, and taped it closed - thereby guaranteeing no missing pieces!. The completed/finished size of the puzzle is approximatedly 27 inches wide by 20 inches tall. This Kinkade puzzle is suitable for display on your wall, framed or unframed once completed. Shipping weight 2 lbs.
