This is almost the end of a lovely collection of about 40 hand fans.  The owner is Mrs. Anita Palmer long time Fan Association of North America member. This is a varied and unusual collection of fans and memorabilia.  

 

This auction is for 5 wonderful old fan boxes or coffins.  The large black is 10 1/4", the smaller, 9 3/4".

The pink 18thC ?, is 11", the lovely brocade is 9", is lined with satin and is from Habana, Cuba.  The last is a bitty 5" glass topped box. All but the smaller black are in excellent condition.
