Twisty Bar Handicap Iron Grab Rail Handrail Pull Rails

 Introducing the Twisty Bar, a hand forged wrought iron grab bar made for use in the home or office.  It is made from a piece of 1/4 x 1 inch thick flat bar which has been heated and twisted about 4 times around.  I make them with both a clockwise and counter clockwise twist.  They are between 17 and 18 inches in overall length, and have at least 1-1/2 inches of clearance to the wall.  They attach to the wall with 1/4 inch lag bolts, which are provided (sorry, they have the zinc coating).  The Twisty Bar has been coated with  hot wax  and carbon black for an authentic rustic finish. Very handy by the staircase or a door where you just want something to steady yourself going up or down a step.  Not really suitable for a very wet environment  (like a shower), as they have shiny metal things for that at the hardware stores for little money.  Perfect for the older home or individual who doesn't want the Made in China look (this is the Forged in Champaign-Urbana look!).
