About Carolyn Kinder Designs
Carolyn's career started as an artist, teacher, and then founder of her first company, Kinder-Harris, which became an award-winning, multimillion dollar international accessory company. Carolyn became known as an industry leader in three important areas: strong, timeless design, the coordination of products from the separate fields of the accessory industry, and use of point-of-sale display units and materials to present a dramatic approach on the floor of the retailer.
Carolyn eventually sold her interest in Kinder-Harris and in 1992, she began the development of Carolyn Kinder, Inc., a multi-faceted company which serves the home interior industry on a broader scale through a series of licensee companies, each a leader in its field. This new business continues to address the area of product development, but is also developing new marketing techniques for consumers by focusing on the many obstacles they face in providing a beautiful, functional, and comfortable home for their families.
In 2002, Carolyn founded Carolyn Kinder International. With the formation of this company, Carolyn searched and acquired additional talented staff with a diversified skill set to implement her plan. This multi-dimensional company continues to focus on delivering award winning designs and creating interesting licensing partnerships, all complemented with the power of media.
Carolyn Kinder and Uttermost have enjoyed a significant business partnership for over 10 years. The relationship began in wall décor, and has expanded in recent years into portable and fixed lighting. Carolyn's unique style, passion, and vision for the future make her very special to Uttermost, and to the entire home décor industry.

After two generations of furniture manufacturing, Bob and Belle Cooper founded The Uttermost Company in 1975, and it is still 100% owned by the Cooper family. Bob and Belle continue to be involved in the business, but are not active in day-to-day activities. Mac Cooper, President/CEO, Taz Cooper, Exec VP/Sales Manager, and a strong management team operate the business today.
Uttermost has enjoyed steady growth for the past 31 years, and now has approximately 290 employees working in its Rocky Mount, Virginia factories totaling 600,000 square feet. Uttermost also has a factory in China which covers an entire city block. In May ’06, Uttermost will be fully operational out of its state-of-the-art West Coast distribution center. This West Coast facility has been added to increase distribution capacity, provide faster shipping to West Coast Retailers, and reduce freight costs to these Retailers.

Return Policy
We offer a 30-day Standard Return Policy on our eBay orders.
If you need to return your product for any reason, you can arrange for this within 30 days of receiving it. Just call the toll-free phone number in the order receipt you will receive to arrange this. Our customer service team will provide you with a return address and Return Authorization number within a few business days. Returned products must be in their original package and must be brand new unused.
Most of our products are offered with free shipping, meaning shipping has been included in the price to provide you with the total cost of the order. If you return your purchase you will be responsible for the cost of shipping it back to the warehouse. You will be refunded the purchase price less our actual outbound shipping cost and the 10% restocking fee when your return has been processed at the warehouse. Return processing time generally takes a few weeks.
In the unlikely event you receive a product that is incorrect, missing parts, or damaged we will send replacements to you.
