This auction is for a science textbook titled Earth Science from Holt Science & Technology, copyright 2001.  (ISBN is 0030519535)  It is recommended for 8th-9th grade level .   The units are broken down into the following:  (1)Introduction to Earth Science, (2) Earth's Resources, (3) The Restless Earth, (4) Reshaping the Land, (5) Oceanography, (6) Weather and Climate, and (7) Astronomy.  There is also a Student Lab Book within the text.  

This 784-page hardcover is in nice condition.  All pages are crisp, clean, and sturdily bound; there is one name and a school stamp on inside cover.  The corners of the cover and the spine are "bumped" and the back cover shows "scoot" marks.  The blank cover page has a 1"x1/8" tear in the upper right corner and a scribble as well.  Two or three pages have a crease; however, you won't be disappointed.  Great photographs and illustrations are scattered thoughout this text.    NICE book!
