NOS Tandberg head mounting bracket w/erase head mounted

Greetings fellow Tandberg enthusiasts and vintage audio collectors!

Tandberg established themselves as a leader in producing superb cassette decks in the late 1970's. Like their their reel to reel decks and other components, these cassette decks earned a reputation for outstanding audio performance and highly-engineered designs. The TCD 3014/3014A and professional TCD 910/911 models were considered to be among the finest recording decks ever offered.

I recently acquired a fabulous set of spare parts that were at one time part of the inventory of a Tandberg distributor in Canada. I have been working my way through the parts, trying to match them up with specific models they were used in. I have more work to do to complete that process, but wanted to get some of the items listed now for collectors and service centers so they can be used to keep these magnificent audio components working as they were intended to.

This listing is for the head mounting bracket as used in a number of Tandberg 2-head cassette decks. This is a new assembly with erase head mounted to the cast metal bracket and riveted leaf spring to tension the record/playback head, as seen in the picture. Original Tandberg part number is 298881.

• I make every effort to find and use the lowest cost shipping method appropriate for your item, and refund surplus shipping paid whenever possible.
• Please remember that selecting the lowest cost shipping method also results in the slowest delivery - please do not leave low detailed seller ratings because of this fact! If you need the item faster, Priority Mail is a better choice.
• Please contact me if the shipping method you want is not offered in the listing. If that service is available for the particular item, I will revise & resend the invoice.
• I am not a full-time eBay merchant, but an experienced vintage audio enthusiast. I put many hours into supporting my customers and listings on eBay but am fitting all of that around a very heavy full-time work schedule. This may occasionally cause me to miss a 3 or 5 day shipping time estimate by a day or so but I always do my best to ship within the guidelines posted in my listings.
• I normally ship once a week on Saturdays, but will always attempt to ship sooner if your payment is received any time between late Saturday and mid-week.
• In the case of larger items shipped overseas, USPS Priority is currently the lowest cost service available. DHL & UPS are much, much higher. I will use First Class Mail International where possible but it has a weight cut-off of 4 lbs. There is no longer a surface shipment option, as USPS eliminated Surface Parcel Post last year. 
• I use recycled packaging materials when I can, because I believe it is the environmentally sound thing to do.
• I also use new USPS Priority & other packaging materials to supplement the recycled materials where appropriate.
• I’m always very careful to make sure the item being shipped is properly protected regardless of the type of packing materials used.
• I am taking the time to explain all this because eBay in their infinite wisdom has raised their fees to sellers, and the only way to mitigate that is with near-perfect feedback so they will provide a small discount on fees. I cannot afford to offer these great vintage audio items at the prices I typically do and end up paying higher fees because a buyer decided they paid too much shipping on one of my items.
• Please note that 4 star ratings while seemingly above average do not qualify me as an excellent seller by eBay's standards.
• Finally, if you feel that you can’t leave at least a 3 star rating in any of the four categories, please contact me to resolve whatever issue has caused you to feel that way. I am committed to meeting the highest customer service standards and qualifying for the new trusted seller program as well.
