This very rare old British war medal was awarded to a soldier who served in combat between the years 1899 to 1902 in South Africa. Correctly inscribed on the edge of the outer ring 6177 PTE W. BUXTON. RL KENT REGI.
He was awarded 5 very rare ribbon campaign clasps * SOUTH AFRICA 1902 * SOUTH AFRICA 1901 * TRANSVAAL * ORANGE FREE STATE * CAPE COLONY *
