Beautiful Hand Painted original engraving.
Size: Engraving: 17" wide by 23" high Including Frame: 28" wide by 33 1/2" high.


 
I do not have the provenance of this piece. although I do know by the sticker on the back that it was purchased from an art gallery in South Carolina. I have thoroughly examined it and can say without a doubt this is a genuine engraving. It is in perfect condition. The plate mark is visible just above Douglas' name. There are some very tiny imperfections in the coloring which is an obvious indication that this was hand painted. I have tried to include detailed photos but it is difficult because of the glare from the glass. In some of the pictures there appears to be a yellowish hue to the overall print but this is not in reality. It has beautiful and realistic coloring. The frame is in good solid condition, but does have some significant chips to the edges. I would be happy to answer any of your questions. Thank you.
