We have here a very nice U.S. Legal Tender $5.00 U.S. Note.  It is a FINE 1928E series $5.00 note, a must for any collection.  It has the large RED SEAL on the left side.

Book value for this note is $20.00, but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charge $35+ each, but even on Ebay $25+ is a commom price just because they are so popular and they didn't make the large seals after the 1930s series.  This note was issued from 1946-1949 just after World War II under President Harry Truman.

This note has no stains, tears, ink, holes or writing, etc.  It has fairly good color and is only fairly clean.  The paper is still firm but shows many folds and wrinkles.  Overall, I'd rate it a FINE, but you be the final judge in the photos which you can enlarge.  So take advantage of the low starting bid and own a quality piece of American historical currency.   The 1928 notes were special.
