1928A FUNNYBACK, VERY GOOD

This is a distinctively different note from most Silver Certificates as it has the famous reverse known as the "FUNNYBACK".   It is the  1928A $1.00 SILVER CERTIFICATE, in VERY GOOD condition in my opinion, but you can judge for yourself to make the final decision with these photos.  You can enlarge all the photos. 

The note is fairly clean, it does have 4 full corners.  It has edges that show visible wear, it has fairly good color contrast with no writing or ink.  There are no holes or tears, but the edges are rought.  The Pre-1935 series are unique among Silver Certificates because of the reverse of the note.  This is a nice circulated example of old paper money.  The Blue Seal is Large and on the left side and  the blue serial numbers are striking.  The note shows visible folds and wrinkles.  

Book value is $15.00 in Very Good condition,  but market demand has even Ebay auction prices routinely above $25.  Retailers and Shop at Home TV often ask $30+ as well.  So I guess the books just haven't caught on the recent growth in demand for these unusual notes.  But for this item, the market can set the price.  Opening bid is .01.  Shipping is FREE.
