This auction is for 4 antique books. The first book reads The Child's Companion and Juvenile Instructor 1869. It has stories and tons of beautiful engravings throughout. Some pages have light wear or spots and the cover is detached as the spine is damaged (outer part torn off). The next two are composition books with handwritten entries and doodles. One is dated 1899 and the text block is loose from the covers. The other is in French. Both have wear & stains. Fourth is Sanders' Pictorial Primer copyrighted 1858. It has lots of nice illustrations and the cover reads "Presented to Nettie Marcy." Overall wear and light stains.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping & handling is always disclosed in the auction before you bid. So by bidding, you agree the amount is acceptable and warrants a 5-star feedback (DSR) rating for shipping & handling. If you do not agree it is fair, then please do not bid, or contact us if you have questions.
Payment is due promptly at the end of auction. We ship all items within 1 business day of receiving payment, most within just hours! We ship by U.S. mail (USPS). No pickups.
New York Buyers
Please WAIT for an invoice before sending payment. Since our business is based in New York, sales tax is required for any item shipped to a New York address.
International Buyers
Please be sure you understand the description and all terms before bidding. Paypal requires proof of delivery, therefore we must ship by Priority Mail. We cannot ship by First-Class mail, because it is slow and does not offer tracking. Also, please be aware that import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These are the buyer's responsibility, so please check with your country's customs office to determine what additional costs may be, before bidding. Please do not confuse these with additional shipping charges. We are prohibited from marking merchandise values below value, or as "gifts."
Multiple Purchases
We do our best to combine s&h on multiple items, but the auctions must end on the same day. One payment should be sent for the items that are combined. Items shipping in Flat-Rate Priority Mail boxes can be combined only if both lots fit in one flat-rate box. THANK YOU!
