1966 $100.00 US NOTE, RED SEAL

This is a nice note.  It is the 1966 Series Red Seal $100.00 US NOTE in VERY FINE, but you can judge for yourself to make the final decision with the photos.  You can enlarge the photos.  It is the only time a US Note was printed in the small size demonination of $100 and it was also the last time the US Note was issued.  That makes it and the 1966A the last Red Seals.    It was issued only in the late 1960s just before the Federal Reserve took over the issue of all US Paper Money.  This note has a very low serial number. 

The note is crisp and very clean for its age, with 4 full corners, good color contrast with no holes, tears or missing pieces.  There are a few flattened folds and some light soiling.  The edges are smooth and sharp.  The paper is crisp and fairly clean.  This is a really good example of old paper money .  The RED SEAL is on the right side and is striking. 

Book value is $175.00 in very fine condition, $2500 in CU, so place a bid and enjoy a bargain.   Some retailers and Shop at Home TV charge much more that book value for this note when they can find it.  This note usually sells for well over $250 even on Ebay!   So if you need it to add something special to your currency collection this may be your only opportunity, don't let it slip by.  I now have many exclusive high grade notes available only in my Ebay store for my customers with buy-it-now prices.  Visit My eBay Store.
