Vintage Counter Top, Country Store Display Case, 50's?

Here's the first of two vintage display cases we'll be listing this week. This one is a relatively small and low case, the type of display case that set atop the counter at the country store and usually held something like pocket knives or watches or something else a little too valuable to let customers handle without assistance. There are the remnants of some advertising markings on the front but we can't figure out what the product might have been from the few letters remaining. The case is nicely made with relatively thick glass top and finger jointed wood frame. Glass is 3/16th inches thick and has a few light scratches from use over the years though decent and usable overall. It appears that when first in use the case had some type of dividers that were used. The case is designed to open from the back of the counter side so the clerk could take out whatever was to be shown to a customer. More recently this had been used in an antique shop for displaying silverware and similar small valuable pieces. Lots of times we see cases like this at antique shows, flea markets, etc.  The blue felt is just a piece of felt that was in the box, nothing special and probably should be replaced. The case is probably from the 50's or perhaps early 60's as best we can guess. It is about 17.5 inches long, 14 inches deep and 2.5 inches tall. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. We'll start this vintage glass top display case or store counter display case low so enjoy the auction. When packed this will weigh about 9.75 lbs. so we'll use USPS Parcel Post service as the lowest cost postal alternative to the buyer. We have no packing or handling charge.
