Books are lightly used unless otherwise specified.  If a book is in New Condition, or more worn than what I normally sell, I'll specify that in the description.  Occasionally, some may have a store stamp, an initial or the previous owner's name written on the inside cover, but this does not affect the readability in any way.  It's very rare that I sell ex-library books, but if one has a library stamp, I'll mention it specifically in the description.
