*Many pictures once you scroll down. Don't forget to click on each one for a close up view. For Sale: I have been holding onto this saw for some time. It's a really nice one, but I didn't want to sell it until I found more information on it's origin. You can tell right away it is am English made saw based on the species of wood and style of craftsmanship. If you look at the pictures you will see a partial maker mark on one of the legs, all you can see is the "Sons". Out of the corner of my eye I just noticed a very faint maker engraving on the one the Hickory handles. It is tough to make out, but I am 90% sure it reads "D. Flather & Sons". D. Flather & Sons was a Sheffield based company that started making tools in 1817. This old bow saw if very well built. Everything fits together tight. The piece of wood that dictates tension fits securely in the cross piece. Usually when I ship these saws I take them apart, but this saw is going to be shipped as is. I don't want to mess around this beauty. The total length is 27", including the handle, the frame itself is 17-1/2", and has a 13" blade. Total height is 15-1/4". If you have any question, comments, or concerns I can be reached at Wes@toolauctionsunlimited.com. As with all my auctions there is no reserve and a very low starting cost.
