For Sale: Here is an old wooden smooth plane.... I can not tell you exactly when this plane was made, but I can tell you it was before 1860. Henry Wells of Williamsburg Mass sold his plane making company to H.L. James circa 1860 according to the local business sense at the time. The plane it self is in decent shape. The soul is chipped, but I am sure this more of a collectible plane then one anyone would want to use. The cutter is 2" wide and has a faint marking "Shel.....Sons" Please take a moment and read this short paragraph on how I conduct business. I am a one man operation. There will be times when it may take a few days before I answer your questions, but nevertheless I will. First I would like to state that my excellent feedback score is very important to me. If for any reason you are not pleased with a product or my service please give me a chance to correct any issue's before leaving feedback. Unlike most eBay sellers I am focused on being a professional. Shipping can be tricky, but rest assured I NEVER INFLATE shipping cost to make a few dollars. It is much more important to have customers that are happy and whom would buy from me again. When you receive your package please check the actual postage, if you paid more than it cost I will gladly refund you the difference. Sunday nights are when all most all my auctions end. When the Sunday night auctions end I will send out invoices to those who have won more than one auction with a revised shipping cost. As many of my repeat customers know, I am a consolidation machine. It is not unusual for me to give a week or two grace period on payment in an effort to safe on shipping cost. In short, I aim to please, my low starting price and no reserve auctions are all the prove I need. Bid away my friends. Feel free to contact me at Wes@toolauctionsunlimited.com. I appreciate your business....
