Outfitters to the adventurous for over a century, Willis & Geiger was once a household name that was synonymous with quality around the world. It has now been a few decades since they closed their doors. We are lucky (and happy) to have come across a few pieces of unsold stock.

This New Old Stock eyewear follows their tradition of quality manufacturing and attention to detail. Looking at the pictures, you can see that the temples are actually fishing poles! See the "buttons" on the inside of the reel? Are those in the same place as a Penn Senator? I think they are. I can see these being worn by world class flyfishermen on the Miramichi. These were made around 1985. White gold finish with tortoise trim.

The sunglass clip is sold out, sorry, and we have very limited quantities of this frame left.

This frame is listed at a fraction of original retail.CONDITION
This is New Old Stock in pristine condition. It has been securely stored since new, and has never been worn or held lenses. We have inspected and adjusted this frame, and guarantee it to perform to your satisfaction or your money back.

About Us


WHAT WE SELL
The eyewear we offer for sale on Ebay is either restored or is new unsold stock. We take pride in the work we do in the preservation of old eyeglasses.

We use our thirty-five years of experience to inspect every aspect of every frame - new or not. The majority of the previously worn frames we get have defects beyond repair and are rejected. The rest are taken apart, cleaned, sterilized, polished, and trued. They are then reassembled, using new screws, nose pads, temple covers and other parts as necessary. Finally, the glasses are given a final cleaning and adjustment

"New Old Stock"
Even frames that have never been out of their original package can change over time. Pressure from other frames in the box and changes in temperature and humidity can cause shape changes over time, throwing the frame out of adjustment. Metal parts such as hinges can tarnish and become stiff. If a plastic frame has been stored for many decades, the plastic may dehydrate and contract or, in extreme cases, begin to deteriorate (and smell like vinegar).
So even with "New Old Stock", we careful inspect each frame and make sure it is solid and in original factory adjustment.
