Description
FRAME This is a New Old Stock woman's wire rim with gold finish and enameled brow and temples. This is a very well made frame. This is one of the last frames produced by New York eyewear manufacturer Pathway before they shut their doors. At one time, Pathway produced in excess of 5,000 frames per day.
This frame color is a lovely Green/Blue enameling. We also carry it in our store in Red/Black.
CONDITION This is New Old Stock and is guaranteed to be as new and to hold your new lenses.
SIZE The 59-13 size is on the large side for this style and period. Temples are marked 132mm, but they fit longer because of hinge setback.

We have to physically go to the post office, wait in line, and pay for the items individually. So for surface delivery, we ship on Tuesday and Friday. Pay by Monday, you ship Tuesday. We accept returns for any reason as long as the item is in the same condition as shipped.
Must not be broken
Must be postmarked no later than 7 days after delivery.
If you are returning something because you don't like it, we refund 100% of the auction fee, but no shipping.

If you are returning an item for fit, please try having it adjusted locally by an optician before returning it. Most eyewear requires adjustment to fit correctly.

About Us
WHAT WE SELL The eyewear we offer for sale on Ebay is either restored or is new unsold stock. We take pride in the work we do in the preservation of old eyeglasses.
We use our thirty-five years of experience to inspect every aspect of every frame - new or not. The majority of the previously worn frames we get have defects beyond repair and are rejected. The rest are taken apart, cleaned, sterilized, polished, and trued. They are then reassembled, using new screws, nose pads, temple covers and other parts as necessary. Finally, the glasses are given a final cleaning and adjustment
"New Old Stock" Even frames that have never been out of their original package can change over time. Pressure from other frames in the box and changes in temperature and humidity can cause shape changes over time, throwing the frame out of adjustment. Metal parts such as hinges can tarnish and become stiff. If a plastic frame has been stored for many decades, the plastic may dehydrate and contract or, in extreme cases, begin to deteriorate (and smell like vinegar). So even with "New Old Stock", we careful inspect each frame and make sure it is solid and in original factory adjustment.
