Shipping and Handling fees can be calculated using the postage calculator on this page. Price options may include USPS media mail (only for books and other media), first class and Priority mail for US bidders, and USPS Priority Mail International and First Class International for non-US bidders. Winning bidder will decide how he/she wishes items to be shipped. Please note and understand:
- Items shipped via USPS media mail can take up to a month to deliver (especially to Alaska and Hawaii). Average time is 10 to 14 days. Please know that this is an issue that is in complete control of the USPS and has nothing to do with my shipping time.
- I do charge a handling fee that is between .50 and $1.50. This covers my shipping costs (mailing supplies, printing, etc.), as well as delivery confirmation. I do my best to keep shipping costs down, but I do have to cover my expenses.
PAYMENT METHOD: Paypal is the only form of payment I am currently accepting. This is due to policy changes on eBay.
ALL BUYERS: If you do not pay immediately, please note that you MUST contact me within 24 hours from the date of sale. I need to know when you will be paying, if not immediately, as well as your shipping information. This expedites the shipping process. If I don't hear from you in 3 days, I will send you a reminder. Unfortunately, if I do not hear from you soon after the reminder (24 hours), I will have to start the non-paying bidder process.
I will combine shipping for bidders who win multiple auctions. If you have purchased more than one item, please wait to pay until I send you an invoice with combined shipping. This is merely to save you money and to accurately reflect shipping costs.
International Buyers – Please Note:
- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. “These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.”
- I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
A Note on Feedback: I leave buyer feedback soon after payment has been received. I would appreciate your feedback as well. When using the Five Star Rating System, please ask yourself the following questions:
· Item As Described – Was the item accurately described in the listing? Did the seller respond to my questions when I asked for clarification about something I did not understand in the listing? Did the seller respond to concerns after I received the item and found that there were inaccuracies in the listing? Am I being reasonable in my expectations given the price that I paid?
· Communication – Did the seller respond to my questions in a timely manner? Did I receive a confirmation e-mail from Paypal stating that my item had shipped or an e-mail from the seller stating that my item had shipped?
· Shipping Time – Did the seller ship my item within two business days? Did the seller contact me if there was going to be a delay in shipping? Was there a holiday that delayed shipping? Please note: you are rating the time it took me to ship your package, not how long it takes the postal service to deliver it.
· Shipping and Handling Charges – Were shipping and handling charges fair? Was my item sent in an appropriately safe package (i.e. bubble envelope, box with packing peanuts, etc.)? Please Note: As with everything, postal rates have gone up in the past year. As a seller, I have to pass those costs along to you. Even with charging a small handling fee, I do not make money on shipping and handling. In fact, Paypal takes a portion of what you pay me for shipping and handling, as well as a portion of your item purchased.
Finally, in regards to feedback, I sincerely ask that if you can’t leave 5 stars on any of the detailed seller ratings, to please contact me first and see if we can work things out to make the transaction a 5 star experience. I am working hard to become a Power Seller, and part of that is making sure my customers are 100% satisfied.
