This is a Himalayan Rock Salt Crystal Lamp that weighs 5  lbs. with a 110 electrical plug and has a small 15 watt lamp bulb inside the rock crystal carving. A 7 watt lamp bulb may be used or a 4 watt lamp bulb for energy savings. The greater the light output, the greater the output of negative ions.The heating of the salt allows negative ions to escape from the salt purifying the air and creating a pleasant healthy atmosphere.

Rock salt Crystal lamps emit negative ions, made from oxygen atoms with an extra electron. High concentrations of negative ions are found by the sea, around waterfalls, in forests and on mountains.
